Our Journey
In 2019, a unique and exciting event series burst onto the scene under the original name “Throw Down Party Tour.” This series, now known as Blerd BashTM, has since become a vibrant celebration of urban nerd culture and a platform for supporting small businesses and creators. Blerd Bash is not your typical pop culture convention; it’s a dynamic fusion of hip-hop, anime, gaming, and a whole lot more.
Blerd Bash embarked on its journey in 2019 with its inaugural event in Houston, Texas. Little did we know that this was just the beginning of an incredible adventure. In January 2020, before the world faced the challenges of the global pandemic, we made our mark in Atlanta, Georgia, and continued to expand our reach.
The year 2021 brought us to Dallas, Texas, and sunny Tampa, Florida. But it was 2022 that truly marked our breakout year as we took Blerd Bash to new heights, visiting major urban hubs like Chicago, Illinois; Detroit, Michigan; Orlando, Florida; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Cleveland, Ohio. With each stop, we saw our community grow and our mission resonate even more profoundly.

Traditional conventions can be expensive to attend, and for small businesses and creators, breaking into these spaces can be a daunting challenge.
Our mission is to bridge this gap.
