Join us on Saturday, September 28th, in Philadelphia, PA, for Blerd Bash: A Celebration of Urban Nerd Culture. We're bringing you an awesome event that fuses urban and otaku/gamer culture for a day packed with fun activities and good vibes.

🎶 Hip-hop/R&B Dance Party: Dance all night to the best old school and new school hip-hop and R&B with our live DJ.

🎮 Tekken 8 Tournament: Come test your skills in our double-elimination Tekken 8 tournament on PS5.

🛍️ Vendor Marketplace: Browse from a curated selection of unique vendors offering anime and gaming art, apparel and crafts that you might not find at the convention.

👺 Cosplay Contest: Transform into your favorite anime, gaming, or sci-fi characters and showcase your creativity in style during our cosplay contest.

🍹 Themed Drinks & Delicious Food: Enjoy crafted cocktails inspired by your favorite anime and video game characters, along with a variety of tasty food options including wings, fried fish, and more.

This event has a strict 18+ age restriction after 7:30 pm. Please be sure to bring your ID.

The Venue

This event will be held at Localhost The Block, a gaming lounge packed with numerous PCs, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch consoles available for your enjoyment.

Transportation and Parking

• There are plenty of convenient transportation options to get you safely to and from Localhost in Philadelphia. The venue is located right on the orange SEPTA line between the Spring Garden and Race Vine stations.
• Use code "PARK" at the kiosk in the "Broad & Vine" parking garage for a discount. Forgot the code? Just tell them you are there for an event at Localhost. "Parkway Corporation" is another nearby parking garage but it is slightly more expensive and doesn't offer the discount.
• If you're going to be drinking, please consider taking an Uber or a Lyft or having a designated driver. Please drive responsibly!

Tekken 8 Tournament

We will be hosting a double elimination PS5 Tekken 8 tournament starting at 3:00 pm. Tournament entry is FREE with your general admission ticket but spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Official registration for the tournament will take place on the StartGG page. Please ensure you read the full details to ensure your participation, and that of others, is as smooth as possible.

You are welcome to bring your own controller or fight stick but it is not required. Please follow the Facebook event page for updates and visit the StartGG registration page for official rules and tournament registration.

Age Restrictions

• From 2:00 pm - 7:30 pm, all persons under the age of 14 need to be accompanied by an adult.
• Children ages 10 and below gain free admission.
• After 7:30 pm, no person under the age of 18 will be permitted into the building.
