Eligibility & Selection Criteria
FAQs
- Submit an application by clicking any of the "Apply Now" buttons on this page or by clicking here.
- You will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received.
- Due to the sheer volume of applications for each event, we can only respond to those individuals whose applications are approved. If you haven't received a response at least 2 weeks before the targeted event date, you can assume your application was not accepted for that year's event but you are welcome to try again at a future event.
If you have been accepted to perform, congratulations! Next we have a few steps in order to prepare for your performance.
- You will receive a performance agreement. This agreement must be electronically signed by both parties (you or a representative from your team and a representative from H.A.G Entertainment) in order for your performance to be officially confirmed.
- You will be asked to provide a few promotional photos of yourself we can use to create promotional materials regarding your performance. These promotional materials will be available for you to use on your social media channels as well as be on display at the event for all of our attendees to see.
- You will be asked to provide the song files or a show mix for your performance set.
- You will be set up with a Google Drive folder where we will share files with you and where you will be expected to upload your requested files.
- You will receive the allocated event tickets by email
- As the event approaches, you will be informed of your set time, a full run of show, and the sound check time.
There are no costs paid to H.A.G Entertainment or the venue in order to perform unless you would like to purchase a promotional table where you can sell your merchandise. This table is separate than the performance and would essentially be treated as a vendor. The only other costs you should expect to pay would be your expenses getting to and from the venue such as parking, tolls, etc. Some of our performances and attendees come from out of town, so you would be expected to provide your own accommodation unless otherwise agreed upon and in your contract. For the most part, most of our performers are local and don't have added travel costs aside from parking fees for any of the nearby parking garages. It's important to note that all of our events are at different venues, so the parking situation is different for each event.
Typical each performer is granted two (2) tickets which covers their admission plus that of one (1) guest. However, requests for more tickers are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
The performance set is typically ten (10) to fifteen (15) minutes long but can vary and can be negotiated based on the performer's recognition and other criteria on a case-by-base basis.
We understand that many performers may have their own camera person that they normally bring to all of their shows. Instead of this crew member taken away from one of the performer's allotted tickets, we invite the camera person to join our Media Partner Program. This will grant additional admission to the camera person and an additional guest. So for example, the performer would technically be able to bring four (4) people, including themselves, in this arrangement. The performer would receive two (2) tickets for themselve plus the additional two (2) tickers for the Media Partner and their guest.
We understand that some peformers have a guest act or feature artist that they would like to perform with. This is fine but if the performer does not want the guest to use one of the allocated tickers, the guest will have to purchase their own general admission ticket.
Yes, there will be a designated window for sound check before the performances. This time frame will be communicated to all performers 24-72 hours before the event.
